Clinton Evans has more than 25 years in the sports, media and entertainment industry experience.Evans is the co-founder and coo of a digital television platform called HBCUX Network dedicated to providing quality sports, entertainment and educational programming to the 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
In his previous positions, Evans served as senior partner of The Clinton Group that provided brand marketing solutions, content development, public relations and event management that delivered culturally relevant and forward-thinking ideas and relationships between clients and consumers.
The Clinton Group developed award-winning initiatives for AND1 Basketball, AVIA, Magic Johnson Foundation, Coca-Cola, BMW-North America, BET Centric TV, Black Family Channel, Comcast Sports Net, Sony and Columbia Pictures, Warner Brothers and Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and other global brands.
Evans served as vice president affiliate marketing and convention management at BET Networks from 1998 until 2001. He also served as director of new business development at BET Networks from 1995 until 1997 and director, consumer marketing BET Movies from 1997 until 1998.
Evans joined BET in June 1989 as manager of affiliate sales and marketing central region and promoted to regional director to manage and oversee a seventeen state region in 1991.
Prior to joining BET, Evans was employed for one year (1988-1989) as director of sales & marketing for Flavor Fresh Foods in Chicago IL, two years (1986-1988), as an account manager for Kraft Foods and three years (1983-1986) as sales supervisor for Cablevision Systems, both in Chicago IL.
Evans sits on several advisory boards such as, Athletes Against Drugs, Chicago, IL, Little Black Pearl Workshop, Chicago, IL and Studio 11 Films, Atlanta, GA.
Evans, a native of Chicago, Illinois graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
